We previously shared Bruno Borie’s Ch. Lalande-Borie and Ch. Ducru-Beaucaillou 2011. In this behind the scenes interview, he explains the idea behind La Croix de Beaucaillou 2011, the second wine created from the Ducru-Beaucaillou estate.

Croix de Beaucaillou has a specificity this year- 7% of petit verdot in the blend. This is a variety that is difficult to master, but when one succeeds, giving intense care, we have something very remarkable.

Robert Parker recently gave La Croix de Beaucaillou 2011 a rating of 90-92.
