Domaine Faillenc Sainte Marie was founded during the reign of Louis XIV and has been making beautiful red, white and rosé wines in the Langedoc area. With a little less than 20 acres situated on the hills of Mount Alaric, the vineyards have a unique terroir that shines through in the wines. The Corbières Rouge is made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. It is a wine with enormous character – showing a rustic, earthy note that works harmoniously with wild berry aromas and flavors.
Located in the heart of the Chianti hills, Montevertine has been around since the 11th century. In 1967 Sergio Manetti, a steel manufacturer, purchased Montevertine for a vacation home and planted about 5 acres to make wine for family in friends. In 1971, Manetti submitted his first vintage to Vinitaly and his wine became an instant success. The Montevertine Rosso di Toscana is the standard bearer of the estate. It is a blend of local organic Sangiovese, Colorino and Canaiolo grapes with elegant and refined structure.
Ermes Pavese is located in the alps of Italy near the summit of Mount Blanc. The winery works with a native grape known as Prié Blanc. It is a mineral driven floral white wine similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. The Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle is from the winery’s highest vineyard site creating a racy, exciting and complex wine. It has a floral nose which leads to a crisp and refreshing taste with a long finish on the palate.
