“Our portfolio focuses on natural, organic, and biodynamic wines, certified or otherwise.” – Coeur Wine Co.
Eric began Coeur Wine Company at the very end of 2013, so these wines are brand new to our shelves. This is your first chance to try them and get to know an exciting new wholesaler, who just so happens to be an old friend of the shop. Don’t miss it!
B. Millet is a 22 hectare estate that is owned and managed by husband and wife Franck and Betty Millet in the village of Bue. The vines of this third generation estate are tended entirely by hand. Sancerre, while more famous for its white wines, with its chalk and limestone soils is also perfectly suited to growing Pinot Noir for elegant, mineral-driven Sancerre Rouge.
Gros Ventre Cellars was founded in 2009 by husband and wife Chris and Sarah Pittenger and is centered around the production of minimal intervention Pinot Noir from some of the coolest vineyard sites in Northern California. The proximity to the ocean and its fog keeps alcohol levels in check, while high elevations serve to maximize sun exposure while simultaneously preserving freshness and acidity. This excellent Pinot is sourced from several coastal vineyard sites and is bottled ufined and unfiltered. Come find out why Chris was named “2013 Winemaker to Watch” by the San Francisco Chronicle.
