I just got back from France so now I’m in a traveling mood. I decided I will travel through wine this summer. That why I decided to pick a nice, refreshing South African white. The Badenhorst Secateur is a clean wine with a orange fruit bouquet and a refreshing finish. I like Chenin Blanc for summer time as it’s perfect for the hot and humid weather. Chenin Blanc will pairs perfectly with a nice salad, a picnic, or a light meal. Feel free to join me on my trip to South Africa and enjoy with me a nice sunset on the Western Cape beach with a glass of the Secateurs and grilled prawns!

My second pick is a California wine as since I arrived I would like to go to California and visit all the vineyards, the national parks, and of course the hills of San Francisco. I chose Steve Edmunds’ Bone-Jolly as it a great Gamay wine which means that the wine is not a full bodied, heavy winter wine but a lighter red perfect for the summer. The wine has red fruit flavors such as raspberry, and violet and a summery ruby-red color. Enjoy it with friends around a barbecue or on a picnic!
