"Pepie Bulles"
Domaine de la Pepiere “Pepie Bulles” NV (2011) – The “Bulles” (French for “Bubbles”) from Marc Ollivier is a fantastic Loire Valley sparkling white. With bright fruit and a crisp, dry acidity, it’s a great alternative to Cava, Prosecco, or Champagne. Modest in alcohol but loaded with flavor, this is sure to be featured in our summer rotation.

Domaine de la Pepiere
Muscadet “Clisson” 2009
This is a true benchmark for Muscadet. Aged too long for the “sur lie” designation, this is one of the richest, most intense examples of the appellation to be found. One of the rare wines that, while it will gain in complexity and depth of flavor for years in the cellar, you really needn’t feel bad about drinking it young as it’s so delicious already.

Mas de Cadenet Cotes de Provence
Sainte Victoire Rosé 2011
We had no trouble finding an audience for the 2010 version of this wine last year, and now the 2011 is off and running. Summer in a glass, this is exactly what Cotes de Provence rosé should be – fresh, dry, and thirst quenching, this blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault really comes alive in the glass. (Also, the Magnum is one of the most striking bottles we’ve ever seen – come see for yourself.)
