Millesima announces the release of Château du Tertre 2011. Alexander Van Beek, General Manager of the appellation Margaux estate describes his experience with the vintage and how the cabernet sauvignon has played a key role in creating the 2011 wine.
This is a vintage typically Medocain, because there is nice acidity in the wine and at the same time a crisp fruitiness which comes from the cabernet sauvignon, not the merlot. Thus we find the body of the wine to be wonderfully composed.
Robert Parker recently gave Chateau du Tertre 2011, Classified Fifth Growth (5e Cru Classé), a rating of 85-87.
