Château de Chantegrive
Bordeaux Blanc 2010
The white wines of Bordeaux are a great alternative for fans of Sauvignon Blanc. Here, Sauvignon Blanc is blended with Sémillon, which serves to flesh out the more “angular” Sauvignon, and provide a riper fruit profile while maintaining the minerality and dry finish. Not so long ago, more white was produced in Bordeaux than red, though less common today, the Chantegrive makes a delicious introduction. Great with seafood as well as quiches and omelettes.

Copain Tous Ensemble
California Pinot Noir 2009
This delightful Pinot is not a conformist. While many California Pinot Noir are known for big fruit and high alcohol levels, the cool climate which prevails in the Anderson Valley (Mendocino County) lends itself to a wine that is more restrained, and winemaker Wells Guthrie takes full advantage. Marked by a lower alcohol level and brighter character, this wine also has flavor of dark fruit along with complex spice elements and oak. This wine goes well with poultry, pork and fattier fish like salmon.
