Yesterday, we posted some of Saint Estephe’s value wines in the 2010 Bordeaux vintage. Today, we’ll look at one of the most prestigious estates in the appellation, Cos d’Estournel.
This 91-hectare vineyard lies adjacent to Chateau Lafite-Rothschild in the neighboring Pauillac appellation. Its main wines include Cos d’Estournel and Les Pagodes de Cos. Cos d’Estournel’s owner, Michel Reybier, also owns two Medoc estates – Goulée and Chateau Marbuzet – and the Tokaj Hétszőlő estate in Hungary.
Millesima recently talked with General Manager, Jean-Guillaume Prats, about the property and wine making philosophy in our brand new video profile (above).
